Overflowing with gorgeous melody, Mozart’s witty romantic comedy follows two sailors who switch places to test their fiancées’ faithfulness, with hilarious results.
Hailed as “colorful, inventive” by The New York Times, Phelim McDermott’s (Satyagraha, Akhnaten, The Hours, The Enchanted Island) production updates the setting to an amusement park inspired by Coney Island in the 1950s, featuring sword swallowers, fire breathers, contortionists, and more.

WHAT: Opera Guild of Rochester presents their Opera Meet-Up before a screening of Met Live in HD: Così fan tutte.
Meet-ups are informal gatherings to give people a chance to chat about screenings of opera productions and all things opera. The Guild has reserved the party room at Tinseltown one hour before showtime so opera goers can meet for coffee and conversation beforehand.
We’ll have light refreshments on hand for all.
