Opera week 2013

Each year, organizations and individuals throughout North America delight and engage opera fans old and new with hundreds of free events. From backstage tours to flash performances and YouTube contests, National Opera Week has activities for everyone, everywhere.  Opera America has taken the lead on this exciting annual event.  Opera Volunteers International is a member of Opera America, as are 150 professional opera companies, 300 associates and businesses, and 2,000 individuals.

How can I participate?

National Opera Week is a great chance to gain attention for your opera company, association, school or business. Events should be fun, free and open to the public and can take place anywhere — even online! In addition to the opera house, previous National Opera Week venues include libraries, parks, bars and restaurants, train stations, art museums, schools, shopping centers, and many more.
